We are looking for an ambitious and independently driven creative specialist to undertake major marketing projects, nurture business relationships and initiate media campaigns and promotional events that can revolutionise the company and accelerate its success. This is a hands-on position where you can excel in an environment that embraces ideas and creativity.
The Marketing Executive core objectives are to achieve media, promotion, review opportunities and boost sales for our books.
**Responsibilities**:
The Marketing Executive will be responsible of the following:
- Develop and present efficient and intuitive marketing strategies across the marketing mix to promote allocated book titles through the media and press targeted to the genre or themes.
- Collaborate with the Media and Communications teams to organise and oversee author campaigns, promotional events for authors and sales opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, demographics, brand awareness, competition ventures and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance of titles.
- Create content and write copy aimed at diverse marketing distributions (such as media kits, press releases, online material etc.).
- Cultivate relationships with various external stakeholders such as media vendors, bookstores and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities and sales opportunities.
- Monitor progress of strategies using various metrics and submit reports of performance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while always maintaining a high level of confidentiality and awareness of general data protection regulations.
- Maintains positive and productive working relationships with clients, colleagues and key stakeholders.
- Actively working towards achieving key performance indicators and objectives.
**Requirements**:
- Up to 5 years’ experience in marketing senior and/or executive position or in a similar role is preferred.
- Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to nurture positive business relationships.
- Adaptable and open to learning new skills and change.
- Creative and adept at problem-solving.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
- Creativity and commercial awareness.
BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline preferred
