Marketing Administrative Assistant

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Facilitating the marketing team to achieve departmental goals with a sound understanding of our company, its services and brand image.
- Guiding new authors and keeping them updated with all the developments in the marketing process in a realistic manner.
- Answering incoming phone calls and providing appropriate assistance.
- Investigating author queries when need be and resolving where possible or escalate, if necessary, by utilising our internal complaints database.
- Attend grading meetings of the department on a regular basis and provide feedback and support accordingly.
- Encouraging the success of our new releases by assisting with the creation of documentation and CRM management.
- Researching possible advocates and key persons and fostering relationships with them to facilitate departmental processes.
- Maintaining files and keeping folders updated with author imagery, news and events.
- Maintaining our database and other records with all relevant details of authors that are now in the marketing phase.
- Monitor stocks and reorder promotional materials and new book copies (via Print Hub) when needed for author events.
- Providing administrative support to the team to where needed.
**Required Skills**:
- Sound organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage a busy inbox with timely follow-up skills
- Working knowledge in CRM technology for managing potential leads and customers
- Proficiency in English
- Advanced presentation and reporting skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent telephone manner, able to empathise and problem solve.
**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
