As our Events Administrator, you will be organising events from our head office. Your role will be to arrange training provided by our consultants to schools in venues and online. This will involve strong organisational and diary management skills. You will need to send welcome letters, zoom links, create sessions via our online platforms and share resources with our course attendees. Full training will be given.

If you have strong communication skills, a methodical and detail-oriented approach, experience of liaising between different teams and an enthusiasm for improving the quality of children’s education on an international platform, this is the role for you.

Main Duties:

- Scheduling and coordinating our calendar of training events.
- Booking consultants and managing the consultant booking process.
- Booking events with venues and schools.
- Answering phones and dealing with customer enquiries.
- Preparing written responses to routine enquiries.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
- Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Constantly monitoring and reporting on the progress of the project(s) to all stakeholders.
- Presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
- Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Managing filing systems.
- Developing and implementing new administrative systems, such as record management.
- Delivering and maintaining a quality service at all times.
- Carrying out any other admin duties as required by the company.
- Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
- Manage an events schedule to maximise yield
- Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events

**Requirements**:
Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience of events coordination.
- Relevant Bachelor degree and/or relevant prior experience.
- Good telephone manner and written communication skills.
- High organised, flexible and a good team player.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Calm and professional disposition.
- Understanding of the education marketplace is beneficial.
- Able to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
- Able to work in a busy office environment that often demands high levels of concentration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Personal Qualities:

- A focused, self-motivated, highly organised project-focused person with creative flair, who will provide excellent customer service at all times.
- A strong, effective communicator, with excellent literacy and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects, see the big picture and provide useful advice and input across the company.
- A highly effective individual who has an eye for detail and is focused on improving business performance through exceptional project execution, reporting and evaluation.

Full time based in our Colchester Head Office.
