Finatal are working with a PE backed online service provider who are looking at a potential exit in the coming 6 months. The CFO wants an experienced interim to support them through this process, assessing potential bids, ensuring working capital is in orderand negotiations are effectively managed with third party consultants and the potential buyer. There may be an element of initial business assessment, ensuring data room is immaculate and presentation of numbers is clear to ensure the best deal is achieved.The preference is someone from a TS background, ideally from a big 4 practice, with both buy and sell side exposure within industry and preferably exposure to PE deals. Size of deals are not overly important, however, business partnering and stakeholder managementwill be key, providing the CFO with confidence their interests are in good hands.

The role:

- Support the CFO with initial business assessment including data room and accounts, ensuring accuracy
- Liaison with third parties, PE partners and potential buyer to negotiate terms of the deal
- Ensure valuation is accurate, fair and no discrepancy in offer to cash received.
- Align timelines and ensure all DD is in good order

You:

- TS background, ideally from a big 4 practice
- Industry side exposure, ideally supporting a prior exit within the PE space
- Sound financial acumen, ensuring accounts and recorded turnover are accurate
- Strong business partnering skills, able to form strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
