This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for an experienced M&A professional who can hit the ground running and drive immediate impact. The initial term is 3–6 months, with the potential to convert into a permanent position, subject to market conditions and business performance.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the M&A lifecycle—from sourcing and diligence to deal execution and integration—working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team, and Private Equity sponsor.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of the group’s M&A pipeline, with responsibility for origination, assessment, and execution of acquisition opportunitiesConduct financial modelling, commercial due diligence, and investment analysis to support deal decisionsBuild relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and potential sellers to proactively generate deal flowLead negotiations, manage advisers, and coordinate internal resources across finance, legal, and operationsEnsure seamless integration of acquired businesses, working closely with internal teams to deliver synergies and valueProvide regular reporting and updates to the CEO and Private Equity sponsor on pipeline progress and market activitySupport strategic reviews and help refine the longer-term buy-and-build strategy as requiredCandidate Profile:A highly experienced M&A or Corporate Development professional with a strong track record of delivering deals, ideally in insurance, energy or financial servicesBackground in Private Equity portfolio companies, investment banking, xpwpeyx or professional services (e.g. Big 4 Transaction Services)Commercially minded, financially literate, and comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentStrong communicator with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and business ownersImmediately available or available at short noticeSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionBusiness Development, Finance, and General BusinessIndustriesInvestment Banking, Insurance Agencies and Brokerages, and Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals#J-18808-Ljbffr
