**Job description - the role**

The role involves responsibility for accounting, financial control and oversight services in relation to UK Retail and Institutional funds managed by M&G Real estate.

As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for:

- Accounting,
- Financial reporting
- Oversight services in relation to property investments managed by M&G.

This role will support the monthly/quarterly reporting of the M&G Secured Property Income Fund and M&G Secured Lease Income Fund.
- Oversight of financial reporting
- Audit and financial statements
- Board and investor reporting
- Processes and controls
- Stakeholder Management
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 accounting for investment property, knowledge of IFRS desirable
- Good experience of the review of property management accounting
- Experience in the review of statutory financial statements based on applicable GAAP
- Fund NAV oversight experience
- Excel (to advanced level is desirable)
- Experience in the use of Yardi Voyager is beneficial but not essential
- Confidence to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external parties.
