**Are you an experienced Housing Officer looking for a new opportunity?**

We currently have a vacancy for a **Housing Officer** to join our team covering Bristol

It's an exciting time for the **Neighbourhoods** **team** at Sovereign, you'll be an integral part of ensuring our neighbourhoods stay in excellent condition, whilst listening to our residents needs and implementing changes where needed. You'll balance your caseload with projects, aimed at keeping our resident's feeling safe and supported.

As **Housing Officer, **you'll use your knowledge and skills to resolve a range of Neighbourhood management challenges. **Your duties will include**:

- Working closely with our residents to understand their needs, wants and challenges
- Contribute to shaping sustainable neighbourhoods that are flexible in meeting the needs of our customers.
- Responding to changing regulatory & statutory legislation and external requirements e.g. The Charter for Social Housing Residents: Social Housing White Paper
- Helping to fulfil our landlord responsibilities and taking a pro-active approach to Health & Safety and Compliance
- Pivotal in making improvements to the community
- Identifying and implementing estate improvement works
- Experience of prioritising and organising housing cases/risk
- The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised
