**Personal Assistant: One-to-One Support**

We seek a calm and composed individual of similar age to support a bright and polite man in his 30s with a complex physical disability who uses a wheelchair for mobility. Your assistance will enable him to maintain a steady routine.

This position guarantees a contract commitment of 16 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 9:30am to 3pm, with some flexibility possible.

**Role Details**:

- **Flexible Hours**: 16 hours per week.
- **Commitment**: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM to 3 PM.
- **Start Date**: Flexible or Immediate.

The duties will be carried out in a clean and safe property where the service user lives with his mother, while his main carer provides her support at various times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transport the service user in an automatic vehicle.
- Accompany and assist with occasional appointments.
- Assist with household tasks and daily activities.
- Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
- Plan and facilitate enjoyable outings like coffee shop visits, retail centre trips, seaside strolls, scenic drives, and running errands.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided).
- Clean UK driving licence.
- Medically fit and safe to drive.
- Must have a passion for driving.
- Professionalism, care, patience, courtesy, reliability, dedication, common sense, organisational skills, and practical decision-making.

To be considered for this position, applicants must reside within a 12-mile radius of Accrington or in the surrounding areas of Blackburn, Rossendale, and Burnley.
