**Personal Assistant/Carer Position - One 2 One Support**

A valid and clean UK driving licence is essential.

**Are you a caring and considerate individual looking for a rewarding role?**

We are looking for a calm, composed and balanced individual to assist a bright and polite chap in his 30s, with a physical disability and relies on his wheelchair.

**Job Details**:

- Flexible hours available, Monday to Friday.
- Minimum, 1-2 days per week.

This is a unique opportunity for mothers who need to balance their childcare duties while effectively addressing the needs and interests of the service user.

Flexible around nursery and school schedules that allows a good balance between work and family life with the option to progress towards some permanent hours.

The duties are performed in a clean safe property where the service user lives with his mother, while his primary carer provides her support at different times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transport the service user in his adapted automatic wheelchair vehicle.
- Assist the individual in enjoying exciting daily outings of his preference.
- Accompany to occasional appointments.
- Assist with basic domestic duties and everyday activities.
- Provide comprehensive personal care.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
- A valid, clean manual UK driving licence.
- Must demonstrate qualities such as professionalism, care, patience, courtesy, reliability, dedication, common sense, organisation skills, and practical decision-making.

Must reside within a 12-mile radius of Accrington, Blackburn, or Rossendale from the service user’s location in Accrington.

**Job Types**: Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.65-£12.15 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 12 per week
