The role is particularly well‑suited to parents who value shared daily activities, and who are seeking consistent hours to balance work and family life around childcare routines. Applicants must be 25 years of age or older, due to insurance criteria.

About the Role

We're seeking a reliable, empathetic, and soft-spoken individual to provide support in a calm, well-kept home environment. You'll need initiative, compassion, a smart professional appearance, and the ability to support varied daily outings.

Driving is central to this role, so confidence and a genuine love of being behind the wheel are essential. You'll be fully insured to drive the wheelchair adapted vehicle.

Option 1 - Ideal in School/Nursery Hours + Just One Sunday a Month

• Wednesday: 09:00 - 16:30
• Friday: 09:00 - 16:30
• Sat/Sun: 16:00 - 20:00

Option 2 – Ideal in School/Nursery Hours + Just Two Sundays a Month

• Wednesday: 09:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 09:00 – 16:30
• Sat/Sun: 14:00 – 20:00

Option 3 – Ideal in School/Nursery Hours + Weekly Sundays

• Wednesday: 09:00 - 15:00
• Friday: 09:00 - 15:00
• Sat/Sun: 14:00 - 20:00

Flexible scheduling available, including minimal weekend shifts where required, while ensuring the service user's needs are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote independence and build confidence
• Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing
• Transport and accompany to medical appointments
• Carry out light household tasks and errands
• Accompany on uplifting activities: scenic drives, coffee shops, garden centres, local attractions, seasonal markets, festive displays, and gentle seaside walks

Location Requirements

Applicants must live within a 12-mile radius of Accrington, including areas such as Blackburn and Rossendale. Applications outside this radius will not be considered.
