Senior Social Media Executive

**Senior Social Media Executive**

Working closely with the Marketing team you will build, drive and execute the social media tactical plans and strategy. You will be required to work closely with content and channel owners, especially consumer PR, to ensure brand content is amplified acrossour channels. You will also be required to support pub social media owners to ensure we manage our overall audiences effectively.
You will work from home 50% of the time and the other 50% will be working either in our office in Burton alongside your team in a Greene King pub, restaurant or hotel.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the social media manager in creating, developing and executing the social media strategy to support the division
- Own the social media support plan for Sports across all divisions; collating one single social plan to identify opportunities, capture learnings and drive forward innovations
- Create and deliver training materials, identify opportunities to support pub teams, and assess the performance of pub social activities
- Build strong relationships with marketing teams to understand their goals, objectives and marketing plan in order to develop engaging and high performing social media plans that deliver the required results
- Work closely with agencies & stakeholders to develop new creative content ideas that will build our brand reach, engagement and drive traffic to our websites.
- Support the pub teams with updated training programmes including presenting social media workshops, developing toolkits, providing on-going support and guidance to in-trade social champions
- Create periodic reports to demonstrate effectiveness of social content campaigns - attending relevant meetings to provide updates
- Work closely with the paid media team and external agency to deliver paid social activations that deliver against brand objectives
- Draft and distribute content on behalf of pub pages that promotes key activities, offers and promotions, and evaluate the results to prove commercial benefit
**About You**:

- Experience working in digital communications and social media
- An understanding of influencer marketing
- Able to measure and review social media campaigns
- A strong communicator that can adapt for audiences of varying degrees of knowledge
- Strong written and oral English language skills - able to write clearly, effectively and succinctly and able to transform technical content into understandable, concise copy
- Personable and able to bring other people on the journey
- A genuine desire to work within the pub and restaurant sector
