**Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity**

Our Underwriting teams are based across our Wilmslow and Manchester sites so you can choose to work from either location.
- To act as an ambassador of the Bank’s vision to; Back more people to go for it in life and in business._

**What will your day look like?**
- Detailed knowledge of Specialist buy-to-let lending in order to interpret and asses all key factors, demonstrating comprehension for the level of risk and supporting collateral.
- Ability to underwrite manually according to both residential and buy-to-let lending policies. Underwrite to external scheme rules or third party requirements, such as government schemes (HTB) or high LTV product policies.
- Interpretation of mortgage market and economic factors to ensure external risk factors are understood relative to each case underwritten

**What do we expect from you?**
- Existing or recent mortgage underwriter with experience of holding a lending mandate
- Knowledge of the mortgage market - including owner occupied, private rental sectors.
- Experience of working with Intermediaries and direct customers
- To ideally have held a lending mandate covering either owner occupied or buy to let/company lending
- Having a proactive approach, with a keen desire to provide excellent customer service, and delivery for our customers
