The Company Overview:
Butler Rose are delighted to be partnered with a leading company in Kendal who are looking to recruit a Senior Payroll Officer to join their team. Due to the comprehensive nature of the role this position would suit an induvial with a high attention to detailwho enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Your New Role as Senior Payroll Officer:
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your duties will include:
Develop and maintain an accurate, on-time payroll.
Maintain the expenses service for employees.
Complete monthly and annual control checks.
Maintain thorough audit trails for internal and external stakeholders.
Resolution of all payroll queries.
Completion of statutory and other returns inc HMRC, TPS and LGPS in an accurate and timely manner.
Ongoing payroll service review and improvements.

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
CIPP desirable but not essential.
Strong attention to detail.
Current knowledge of payroll legislation, pension and HMRC requirements.

Salary and Reward on Offer:
Salary £25,000 -£28,000 per annum.
30 days holiday
Hybrid working (60:40).
Generous pension contribution.
