Residential Team Leader

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead by example, providing **compassionate, therapeutic support** to children in our care.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of **Therapeutic Care Workers**, ensuring consistency and high standards.
- Create a **positive, structured, and inclusive environment** where children feel safe and valued.
- Work collaboratively with **therapists, social workers, and education professionals** to support each child’s development.
- Support staff in implementing **care plans, risk assessments, and therapeutic interventions**.
- **Monitor and evaluate** the progress of children, ensuring that their emotional, social, and educational needs are met.
- **Ensure compliance** with safeguarding policies, regulations, and best practices.
- **Organise and lead shifts**, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain accurate **records and reports**, contributing to reviews and planning meetings.
- Help to foster a **culture of learning, development, and continuous improvement** within the team.
**What We’re Looking For**
- **Experience in residential childcare** or a similar setting.
- A strong understanding of **trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches** (training provided).
- Excellent **leadership and communication skills**.
- The ability to **motivate, support, and develop** a team.
- A passion for creating a **home where children feel they truly belong**.
- A commitment to **safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children**.
- **Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare** (or willingness to work towards it).
Pay: £32,040.00-£35,135.00 per year
