Santander want to become the best mortgage provider in the UK and delivery of new propositions that drive income aligns with the Homes Division strategy to maintain and grow Santander’s position in the UK mortgage market.
This role, based in the homes division, will focus on supporting: the design of best-in-class propositions, the IT delivery, considering regulatory obligations, supporting the creation of robust credit risk strategies, being partly responsible for the successful delivery of these new propositions as well as the management of these portfolios in a BAU environment.

**The difference you’ll make.**
- Identifying, assesses, manages, and reports risks, taking proactive personal responsibility for ‘doing the right thing’ in compliance with regulatory requirements and our frameworks and policies.
- Considering the customer lens in their day-to-day activities.
- Protecting the interest of the customer by flagging risks, potentially poor customer outcomes and any other applicable challenges.
- Demonstrating awareness of the financial services industry
**What you’ll bring.**
- Basic knowledge of the bank’s payment systems secured credit policies and mortgage and underwriting systems is desirable.
- Strong persuading and influencing skills.
**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Previous project management and/or product management experience is desirable.
**What else you need to know.**
This is a full-time, permanent contract offering flexible working between home and the office.
