A fantastic opportunity has become available to join the Fraud CIO team as a Scrum Master, working with a focussed team of exceptionally talented developers and designers committed to helping Santander deliver value through use of latest technologies. Our mission within Fraud CIO is to design, deliver and evolve best-in-class fraud capabilities to protect our customers and to establish Santander as the global lead for preventing economic crime.

You will work within an agile squad comprising of Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, Testers and Release Managers.

**The difference you’ll make.**
- Supporting the Product Owner and the Scrum team to deliver the backlog of requirements
- Reporting progress and milestones using Agile tools to stakeholders to track various deliveries
- Coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality
- Holding regular retrospectives to encourage a culture of continuous improvement
- Removing any impediments within the scrum team and stakeholders
- Working with team members to establish a positive working culture and a high-performing team

**What you’ll bring.**
- Experience as a Scrum Master in a software development team
- Understand and articulate burn down rates and team velocity
- Understands the need for safe to fail environments and helps the team to create and maintain this environment
- Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Knows how to work their way around helping the team with impediments and raising blockers and issues with high level management to address those
- Challenging the status quo securing support from high level management to Agile mindset and practices

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Experience of using different prioritisation techniques
- Experience of performance management of squad members
- Experience with agile development practices such as Behaviour Driven Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and code quality metrics
- Scrum Master Certification
