Within the CIO Operations team you will be developing E2E solutions to streamline through technology and automation some of the most critical operational processes within Santander, leveraging our digital channels to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. As part of our different Agile Product Teams, we are looking for team players who understands what Agile means and who understands the importance of testing automation and continuous integration and delivery.

We are seeking a Scrum Master who embraces agility as a practice and will drive the different teams and initiatives under his remit to deliver first class digital solutions with a customer centric approach.

- Removing impediments that hinder the team from reaching their goals and have a flexible approach that enables the team to rapidly respond to changes
- Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team
- Ensuring that all scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox
- Assisting the team with scheduling, estimations, sizing, and story development and delivery

**What you’ll bring.**
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Ability to orchestrate across multiple agile development teams
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a must

**It would also be nice for you to have.**
- Technical understanding and background with the ability or experience interacting with senior stakeholders
- Scrum Master certifications and qualifications
- Good understanding of working with geographically distributed teams
- Experience introducing Agile frameworks and methodologies to a new group and supporting them to adapt to using a positive mindset and approach

**What else you need to know.**

BPM is a team within CIO to provide services and expertise to Santander UK as part of the Business Process Management area. This currently includes Appian, Tibco and Work Manage. We deploy into a PaaS using a Jenkins pipeline. We also interface with Git and the Gitlab API.

We aim to practice Test Driven Development with the goal of having sufficient confidence in our test coverage to enable direct and continuous delivery of our software into production.
