They respect the ingenuity of entrepreneurs and their startups; we give first-timers a leg-up onto the property ladder; they open up the lending market to many; and thousands of customers chose MotonovoFinance every week to buy their next car, van or motorbike. **Feel like being part of** The Dealer Oversight team is an integral part of MotoNovo Finance as they act as a robust second line of defence, responsible for providing assurance to the business through the effective monitoring of MotoNovo Dealer and Broker Partners. The team handleescalations where poor conduct is uncovered or suspected as well as taking a proactive 'business as usual' approach to oversight. The role of Dealer Oversight Officer is really important to us. You will be responsible for assessing current MI and assuring MotoNovo that our Dealer and Broker Partners are operating in a compliant and TCF manner to meet the standards set out by MotoNovoand regulatory bodies as an absolute minimum. This role will be based in our Cardiff City Centre office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction. **What would your day look like?** - Ensure customers and dealers are provided with a professional, efficient and knowledgeable service at all times - Ensure a proactive and proportional approach is adopted in order to mitigate risk and achieve the requisite levels of oversight - Consider current processes and technology to develop the general oversight along with management to enhance both customer and dealer experience. - Understand & administer the Oversight Framework to proactively provide due diligence to the MotoNovo Dealer and Broker portfolio - Analyse and proactively respond to relevant Management Information, as well as information gathered from Customer/Dealer surveys and other appropriate sources - Provide feedback to management and departments identifying any development or training needs based on findings during oversight checks. - Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge and understanding of MotoNovo Finance products and services, providing accurate information and proactively promoting them where appropriate. - Ensure an up to date and informed knowledge of applicable regulation and legislation in relation to the role and the industry. - Investigate risks, conducting root-cause analysis to establish the breakdown in controls, and identify underlying Trends and Typologies. Providing feed back to the business for continuous improvement, minimizing the financial impact to the business, andrecommendations for the implementation of controls to mitigate the risks identified. - Collaboratively own investigations into cases of Fraud, compiling evidence, submitting witness statements and presenting exhibits to the NaVCIS Vehicle Fraud Unit, Action Fraud and the Police. To liaise with Authorities to assist in the investigation ofsuspects and the recovery of assets. To represent the company at court as a witness to convey witness statement evidence if required.
