**Personal Assistant to Managing Director**
**Location**: Head Office (Independent Pharmacy Group)

**Job Type**: Full-time / Part-time / Permanent
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday (No weekends)

**About the Role**

We are looking for a highly efficient, organised, and proactive **Personal Assistant** to support the Managing Director of our fast-growing independent pharmacy group. This pivotal role requires a confident communicator, a team player with exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Diary & Meeting Management**
- Manage and coordinate the Director’s calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to arrange and confirm appointments.
- Ensure the Director is fully briefed and prepared for all engagements.

**Communication & Correspondence**
- Draft and respond to correspondence on behalf of the Director and wider pharmacy management team.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all written and verbal communication.

**Executive & Administrative Support**
- Support the Director with prioritising tasks and managing workload.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for meetings and strategic planning.
- Provide support to other management staff as needed.
- Handle general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.

**Reception & Office Coordination**
- Greet visitors and manage front-of-house reception duties at Head Office.
- Answer and direct incoming calls appropriately to departments.

**Project Assistance**
- Assist with ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as directed by the Director.
- Conduct research and provide relevant information to support decision-making.

**Skills & Experience**

**Essential**:

- Minimum **1 year of experience** as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar administrative support role.
- **Full UK driving licence** (role may occasionally require travel between sites).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in the pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated sectors.
- Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
