**HARD ROCK INTERNATIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES AND MARKETING COORDINATOR** LOCATION: Hard Rock Cafe Newcastle POSITION TITLE: Sales and Marketing Coordinator REPORTS TO: Sales and Marketing Manager DIRECT REPORTS: None Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Sales and Marketing Manager. Directing Cafe sales and marketing efforts that align with the overall operating strategy. This individual will also support the Cafe’s Senior Leadership Team in upholding all brand standards, core values, while meeting or exceeding Hard Rock’s business objectives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Take a lead on social messages offering timely responses to all enquiries. - Write and negotiate sales and marketing contracts according to company procedures - Assembling of the cafe event calender and brand calender - Assist in executing and attending buy outs, events, functions, trade shows. - Take a lead in replying to all customer reviews on all platforms. - Assist the sales manager with weekly content creation for social media channels. - Help create social media plans that are both relevant and engaging. - Ensure all social are kept up to date in line with the weekly social media plan. - Assist in creating experiences on Opentable (Bookings system) - Write copy for social media posts, sticking to the brand tone of voice. - Assist the sales manager in generating new leads and helping drive revenue. - Help create engaging content as and when required. - When required, create online events both on the HRCN website & social media. - Update local competitor dairy. - Participate in creative sessions, helping structure and build fresh new event proposals. - Attention to detail, acting as a second pair of eyes to assist the sales manager in proofreading all marketing materials. - In the absence of the sales and marketing manager, take the lead as and when required - Assist in the management of promotional staff, including spot-checking and rota management. - Research and report on local competition, including other HRC. - Attend off site events when required to assist in the smooth running of all marketing events. - Know and understand the mission, mottos, values, culture and spirit that makes Hard Rock unique. - Working as a team, help all departments to complete the required activities or projects that ensure we achieve successful evets and outcomes. - Operate ethnically to protect the image of Hard Rock - Utilize programs designed to help save the planet. **AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCES THAT ROCK** **HARD ROCK INTERNATIONAL** **HARD ROCK INTERNATIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES AND MARKETING COORDINATOR** This job description reflects the position’s essential functions; it does not encompass all of the tasks that may be assigned. **REQUIREMENTS**: EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS - Expertise in social media platforms. - Background in music and event industry a plus. SKILLS - Ability to learn and bring "out of the box" ideas to their team. - Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for sales. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - High level of business acumen and common sense. - Demonstrates strong problem solving skills through ability to diagnose and implement solutions. - Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing. - Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas. - Ability to effectively pitch and present information in one-on-one and group situations to media, customers, clients, partners and other employees of the organization. - Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Ability to move throughout the cafe (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time. - Ability to sit for extended periods of time. - Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists. - Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear. - Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders. - Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds. - Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion. - Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment. - Ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods of time. **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 25 per week **Salary**: £11.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Discounted or free food - Employee discount Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Work Location: One location
