SUPPLY CHAIN ADMINISTRATOR

OVERVIEW

As a result of continued growth, a well-established Joinery Manufacturer has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Production Office Team. The Production Office Team encompass purchasing and stock control of materials, despatch of completed goods and liaising with our customers and suppliers to ensure the factory and the customers get what they need when they need it. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, accuracy, problem solving and understanding of time critical work is vital.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the day to day operations of the production department, providing administrative support as necessary.
- Raise Purchase orders with various suppliers.
- Ordering of all materials for factory and sites.
- Sourcing new suppliers where needed.
- Goods receive all deliveries received into the factory and to site.
- Creating new stock codes in sage 200.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding prices and stock levels.
- Upkeep of stock module in sage 200.
- Chasing suppliers for any outstanding orders.
- Dealing with any invoice queries.
- Checking Production Planning Schedules and planning material ordering around this using in-house systems.
- Data entry of monthly and year stock takes.

Essential:

- Have strong administration skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have competent IT skills, to include Microsoft Office experience, with ideally experience in Sage 200 ( not essential as training will be provided )
- At least 3 years office administration experience, ideally from a construction / manufacturing background
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Have strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet production requirements.
- A high level of numeracy, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly
- Be a team player and be able to take ownership of tasks

It is beneficial if you have experience in Sage 200, however training can be provided.

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
