Project Supply Chain ManagerLocation: Glasgow AreaTalented people are the key to our successAbout us:Come and work for a progressive and ambitious company which is also one of the most successful within the UK construction and infrastructure industry?As a Project Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for sub-contract and materials procurement as well as vendor performance and relationship management. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Commercial and Project Management teams to ensure that subcontracts and materials are delivered on time, within budget and meet the required specifications. You will also be responsible for identifying the most appropriate procurement strategies and mitigating risks related to the supply chain function.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the end-to-end subcontract procurement process, including high value / high complexity works. Manage and optimise procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of works, goods and services. Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers to ensure that the company receives high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. Identify and manage any performance issues identified within the supply chain Identify and mitigate risks related to the supply chain function, such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to ensure that the supply chain function is meeting its targets and objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field (preferred). CIPs level 4 or working towards (preferred) Previous experience in supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry. Excellent working knowledge of the construction supply chain in the Scottish Central Belt. A good working knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC4 would be advantageous) Demonstrated ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies and processes that support business goals and objectives. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
