Our client Scottish Power are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Consultant to join their team based in Cambuslang on a contract basis initially. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain professional with experience of supply chain systems such as SAP. For more information on this role see below:

Job Purpose:

The Supply Chain Stakeholder Consultant is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the supply chain. This role ensures alignment between business objectives and supply chain strategies, driving collaboration, transparency, and performance improvement across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between external supply chain teams and key internal stakeholders (Commercial / Project Management teams)

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to ensure clear communication of supply chain goals, challenges, and performance metrics.

  • Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and reviews to drive continuous improvement and strategic alignment.

  • Monitor and report on stakeholder satisfaction, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Support contract negotiations and supplier performance management in collaboration with procurement.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards across the supply chain.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure stakeholder needs are integrated into supply chain initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain stakeholder maps, communication plans, and engagement strategy

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field.

  • experience in supply chain, stakeholder management, or relationship management roles.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement, and logistics.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder networks and drive consensus.

  • Experience with supply chain systems (e.g., SAP) and data analysis tools
