**_Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Planner on a Fixed Term Contract basis of 12 Months located on the Douglas Platform, UK._**
The Douglas Complex is a 54-metre (177 ft) high system of three linked platforms in the Irish Sea, 24 kilometres (15 mi) off the North Wales coast. The Douglas oil field was discovered in 1990, and production commenced in 1996.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Planning and Coordination of asset activities to ensure Certificate of Fitness is valid and achieve optimum utilization, effectiveness and efficiency of all installation equipment and personnel.
- Coordinate with third parties, onshore engineers, vendors and purchasing departments as appropriate in support of the planning process.
- Comply with and effectively implement the Tollgate system as per the Client process, liaising with the onshore production services team
- Ensure that all necessary resources are available when required and in accordance with Client business needs and production plans.
- Review installation performance against key performance indicators and challenge and identify opportunities for improvement
- Carry out analysis on maintenance related issues as requested
- Provide local support for the Maintenance Scheduler during absences (including but not limited to Annual Leave, Training Courses, Rota Gaps)
- Support and contribute to shutdown planning and execution
- Support maintenance reviews
- Understand the work plan and liquidate work safely and on time
- Provide asset resource requirements input to the integrated production planning process
- Facilitate weekly planning and look ahead meetings
- Plan, schedule, priorities and coordinate all asset-based activities to ensure that production plans and targets are met safely and effectively.
- Ensure the safe and optimum utilization, productivity and effectiveness of asset-based personnel and resources.
- Ensure all asset personnel are aware of and understand their utilization and productivity expectations
- Minimize loss due to unplanned shutdowns
- Plan, schedule and coordinate planned asset shutdown(s) and start up including the availability of materials and personnel to ensure timescales are met safely, efficiently and effectively
- Record and report details of equipment performance and condition in SAP
- Participate in reviewing and improving asset performance.
**Essential Skills**:
- Experience in the offshore industry is advantageous.
- Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training course
- OGUK medical

- Oil Spill Response Level 1
- Permit to work system awareness (preferably ISSoW)
- Computerised planned maintenance system (preferably SAP)
- STOP and/or Synergi awareness or equivalent
- Accident and Investigation Training
- Relevant qualifications in core discipline background
- Weather observation and reporting
- CAA Radio
- Vantage
- Supervisory Management Training and Development (SMTD) or equivalent
