Petrofac is to hire “Senior LOLER Focal Point” to be based offshore on Douglas platform on a 2/2/2/2/2/3 rotation.

**JOB TITLE: SENIOR LOLER FOCAL POINT**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the review and sign off of lift plans and coaching for remaining crews appointed as LOLER Appointed Persons across the field. Additionally, responsible for performing helideck crew duties and deck duties and tasks as required and directed by the Maintenance Planner to ensure safe, efficient & cost effective operation of the platform’s deck activities.
- Senior LOLER Appointed Person and Focal Point for field including responsible for creating and authorizing lifting plans for one pass to the OIM for final approval.
- Approve (Technical Authority) permits involving rigging activities, ensure all lifting and associated equipment, where necessary, has valid certification prior to commencing lifting operations.
- Prepare work areas which require Crane and lifting operations.
- Ensure any lifting Plans are prepared and executed / signed in a timely manner, to accompany the ISSOW WCCs (field wide as required)
- Assist with the selection and rigging of lifting equipment.
- Direct and perform all assigned servicing, conditioning, fault diagnosis and restorative maintenance duties and tasks applicable to all platform lifting equipment.
- Coach remaining field LOLER APs to achieve and maintain appropriate standards.
- Responsible for preparation of lift plans and scaffolding activities for Irish Sea Pioneer (ISP)
- Ensure the Weekly Rigging and Lifting Gear inspections are completed and recorded in SAP.
- Audit and maintaining Rigging Loft including certification of lifting equipment.
- Order equipment for rigging / scaffolding operations
- The safe and efficient performance of assigned deck duties and tasks as required.
- The safe and efficient performance of assigned Heli-deck crew duties and tasks as required.
- Ensure all relevant equipment performance and condition data is recorded accurately for input into SAP.
- Understand the work plan and liquidate work on time and in accordance with the Client’s Safe System of Work
- Preparation of work areas which require Crane and lifting operations.
- Assist in the re-prioritizing of installation work schedules by immediately communicating to the Scheduler all instances of lifting equipment and crane malfunction and unavailability
- Assist visiting specialist contractor personnel in the review of work packs ensuring lifting operations are captured in ENI format/to company equivalent standards. Oversee execution of specialist contractor work involving platform plans, equipment and Lifting operations personnel.
- Liaise with ENI Lifting Technical Authority as required.
- Provide technical support and input as part of investigation teams for any field lifting investigations
- Lead applicable reviews across sites for procedures, checklists and registers driving improvement and compliance. Ensure actions and lessons learnt are effectively communicated to applicable team members.
- Act as delegate Deck Lead during periods where cover is required.
- Awareness of legislative and external governance changes with respect to lifting and lifting operations ensuring procedures liaising with ENI Technical authority to ensure ENI maintain full compliance.
- Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to Petrofac’s ‘Eight Golden Rules’
- Take care of your personal health and safety and, by your actions, help to ensure the safety of others.
- Actively promote company 'Stop Work Authority' with offshore teams.
- Comply with company policies, Code of Business Conduct etc., local policies, standards, and legislation.
- Bring to the attention of Supervisors any hazards or potential hazards in all spheres of activity.
- Report promptly all accidents, incidents and near misses to the Supervisor
