Part - Time HR Administrator

**Job description**
Our prestigious and growing client is looking to take on an strong administrator to join their small & friendly HR team.
The core duties of the role will be to provide administrative support within the HR function that supports best practice HR and offers a responsive, friendly, and welcoming service to colleagues, managers, and external partners.
Working hours - 3 full days a week between Monday - Friday
**Key Duties**:
- Support recruitment activity, ensuring compliance with data protection principles (GDPR and equal opportunities)
- Coordinating interviews as requested by other members of the HR Team
- Responsible for the administration of all onboarding activities, issuing new starter documentation, collation of employee records, induction and post start documentation and process
- Coordination of induction for all new starters
- Provide ad hoc information to Management as requested
- Support HR Coordinator with data collection for absence and board reports
- Support the HR Coordinator with reporting to payroll in accordance with the deadlines.
- Respond to all payroll queries promptly and escalate as necessary
- Ensure all HR information and systems are accurate and comply with statutory retention rules and data protection principles (GDPR)
- Build strong working relationships with the HR team and colleagues, regularly updating on activity to ensure a joined-up HR service is delivered to the business
**Experience required**:
- Administration experience (essential)
- IT literate and the ability to work proficiently with Microsoft (essential)
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload and meet strict deadlines, whilst upholding accuracy with a strong attention to detail (essential)
- Proactive and methodical approach to work with a ‘can do’ attitude (essential)
- Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently (essential)
- Tactful with the ability to work within the boundaries of confidentiality (essential)
- Strong communication and relationship building skills/ ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written (essential)
- Desire to learn and progress within an HR field (essential)
- Previous experience of working in HR (desirable)
- Previous experience working organisations with a diverse workforce or blue collar/white collar mix (desirable)
