**Job Advert**:
Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Skelmersdale.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

You must be able to cook as a requirement you will be meal prep food weekly in guidance to a persons SALT plan. You will also be required to access the swimming baths, to support weekly the use of a swimming pool.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

**What we're looking for**:

- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

**Contract options**:

- Full-time: 37.5 hrs
- Part-time (30 hours per week): flexible hours based on availability

**Shift times**:
**All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life**
- Shift patterns include: 10am-10pm sleep, 8am-10am, 5pm-10pm sleep, 8am-10am including day shifts.
- You must be able to carry out sleep in shifts.

**_There is also a sleep-in available where you will_**_ receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45._
