**The Company**
Interski is a specialist ski tour operator based in Mansfield, offering ski trips to schools and colleges from all over the UK as well as ski holidays for adults and families. Interski has been operating since 1983 and has an enviable reputation within the industry, renowned for its customer service and attention to detail. We currently offer Italy, France and Andorra as destinations with plans to expand to other areas in the near future.
**The Successful Applicant**
We are looking for someone who is both outgoing and confident who will fit into our small but dynamic team. You will be required to be a team player, but also with the discipline, motivation and maturity to be able to manage your own workload and be capable of managing yourself. A positive outlook is essential as are good communication skills and a confident and capable telephone manner.
A keen interest in travel is a necessity and whilst not essential, an understanding of the ski industry is an obvious advantage. Previous office administration experience is also beneficial, but not imperative.
You should have excellent spoken andwritten English as well as good Maths skills. You need good problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box and work flexibly to meet the requirements and expectations of our customers.
Familiarity with a windows operating system and MS Office products is essential.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The successful applicant’s main duties will be to provide administrative support for the sales and bookings department which covers a wide and varied range of tasks. You will be required to assist with the booking process, deal with new enquiries and be involved with checking bookings. You will regularly speak to clients over the phone, quoting for new business as well as helping existing bookings with queries in a fast-paced and busy environment.
**Hours of Work**
This is a full time position, based on 9-5, Monday to Friday with a 1hr lunch break, therefore a 35hr working week. These hours will differ slightly during the winter months to meet the increased demand, but additional hours worked are returned via our 'summer shutdown'.
**Remuneration**
A competitive starting salary of £19,000pa will be offered along with a generous annual leave allowance of 20 days, plus bank holidays. We also operate a 'summer shutdown' (normally 3 weeks in August) which is included in addition to your normal annual leave allowance. We also provide discretionary bonuses based on company performance.
We organise regular training days/evenings out. There will be opportunities for travel to our ski resorts as well as discounts on holidays for friends and family. There is free parking on site and a modern and comfortable working environment which includes hybrid working.
