Due to continued business growth, we are opening a brand-new leisure complex in Trafford Palazzo.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Sales & Events Coordinator will play a central role in overseeing primary aspects of our events and booking function.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing events. You’ll need to be creative when it comes to selling event packages and be genuinely enthusiastic about being the first point of contact for those engaging with Archie’s.
**We can offer great rates of pay, and lovely work environment**:
- Pay: £26,000-£29,000 per annum
- 40 hours per week
- Location: Manchester City Centre
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- 70% discount in all Archie’s stores for you and your guests
- This permanent role will require you to work Monday to Friday 09:30-17:30, based at our head office
**Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales & Events Coordinator**:
- Proactively approach local businesses and schools to sell corporate events and parties
- Booking events across all Archie’s sites
- Promotion, booking, scheduling, and event oversight
- Meeting and greeting all parties in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ensuring all party bookings are correct before the party’s arrival
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure events run to schedule and exceed guest expectations
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all areas
- Work with Marketing to promote events in store and on social platforms
- Follow up post events for guest for feedback and to discuss future bookings
**Requirements and skills**:
- Previous experience in a Sales & Event Coordinator position, in a leisure or hospitality environment
- Experience in organising one-off and repeat events
- A passion for the details via project management tools, paperwork, and IRL
- Tech savvy - able to research, implement, and manage tech systems for managing events
- Excellent customer service skills
**The Sales & Events Coordinator will be required to undergo a DBS which will be processed at the offer stage.**
