**Part-time 20 hours per week**

**£26,500 (£14,324 pro rated salary)**

**Fixed Term Contract until August 2026**

Hull Trains is an open-access operator running seven daily services to London King's Cross from Hull, Brough, Howden, Selby, Doncaster, Retford and Grantham.

We are recruiting for a Training and Team Co-ordinator to work with the East Coast Digital Programme.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Support the Training Development and Delivery Manager in preparation of driver and other role training courses including, but not limited to:

- Preparation of course handbooks and slideshows
- Coordination of facilities for training courses for ERTMS.
- Working alongside the rail operating businesses to ensure release of personnel at appropriate times for ERTMS.
- Planning and diarising for trainer, instructors, and attendees for ECDP training courses
- Administrative duties associated with training course delivery.
- Coordinate the training workstream project report, plan and documentation under guidance of ERTMS Operations and Training Manager
- Meeting management (booking of, agenda, minutes, tracking actions)
- Support with travel/accommodation bookings for ECDP
- Support planning, coordination, and communication activities
- Create and maintain quality project documentation for all stages of the project
- Develop and maintain a risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and opportunities (RAIDO) register
- Provide assistance with other activities within the project management team as appropriate on an ad-hoc basis as directed by the ECDP Project Team

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience of supporting a team/project in an administrative / secretariat position
- Experience of working within a training organisation or within railway environment (desirable).
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PPT and MS Outlook, in particular).
- Working knowledge of MS Project (training will be provided).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- The ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally, clearly and concisely.
- A high level of attention to detail and skill in creating accessible, traceable documentation.
- Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated and able to set and achieve demanding targets and objectives, and report upon them.
- Experience of Project administration or coordination through supporting and/or delivery of business change projects in a variety of different project environments.
- Practical understanding of project controls, processes, and governance.
- Administration experience or support of utilising project management tools, project reporting and risk management.
- Experience of supporting the creation and maintenance of key project documentation.
