Sales and Marketing Executive - Biotech
Up to £30,000
Location: Remote
Hours: 37.5 hours per week plus travel when required.

As an innovator in the Biotech industry, my client is experiencing huge growth.
To enhance this, they have created a new position for a Marketing Executive. This is a new position responsible for marketing activities and promoting products. Due to the nature of the product range, a scientific degree or equivalent experience and strongcommunication skills are essential. This role will suit an individual who is has a passion for marketing and science communication.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase company brand awareness and inbound lead generation. This will involve developing website and social media content and creating engaging collateral for our target audience.

The role involves nurturing new customers through the marketing and sales pipeline and providing solutions to meet their specific requirements.

The successful applicant will be able to hit the ground running and proactively develop marketing content to build a pipeline of new opportunities.

Main Responsibilities of the Role
- Actively globally promoting the Company’s brand across all media, press releases, delivering customers with engaging and applicable content, enduring consistent representation of the Company’s products, services, aims and values.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to increase company and brand awareness
- Assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our digital marketing efforts to increase leads generated from website, social media and campaigns.
- Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using web analytics tools and CRM
- Conducting market research and analysis
- Follow up and qualify inbound enquiries from website and marketing campaigns
- Develop strong knowledge of the product range, the market and the customers we serve.

Typical Activities

Marketing:

- Coordinate and develop marketing campaigns
- Website design and content development
- Manage social media accounts and online presence
- Prepare and design collaterals i.e. presentations, product literature, data-packs and other promotional materials.
- Demonstrating effectiveness of marketing activities, refining and developing methods accordingly.
- Liaising with designers

Sales:

- Following up and qualifying new enquiries to fully understand customer needs
- Collaborate with Sourcing team on provision of material that meets customer needs and specifications
- Generating quotations
- Identify target customer lists from market research
- Providing customer service and sales administration where required.
- Travel to international events may be required

Knowledge and Experience Required
- B.Sc degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent experience in a scientific field or industry
- Marketing qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a sales and/or marketing role
- Knowledge of digital marketing including SEO, Google Ads, PPC
- Experience in scientific content writing
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in MS Office
