Marketing and Brand Associate

As our Brand and Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for helping to deliver consumer brand content across all external channels, with a big focus on social media and PR. You will gain an understanding of our customers and end-consumers, and work cross-functionally within the business to find creative ways to truly engage with our target audience and drive brand awareness and sales.

The role will primarily be based at our Vertical Farm, Pepperness in Sandwich but you will be required to travel to our London office one day a week and from time to time to other meetings with our PR and Social Media agencies.

**Objectives**
- Support the Head of Marketing to successfully launch the first real innovation into prepped salad for 15 years
- Assist in building and implementing brand plans to contribute to the profitable growth of the company
- Oversee our social media marketing and report on the results
- Be our brand's guardian and ambassador both internally and externally
- Be the brand champion at Pepperness, responsible for events, visits and samples

**Responsibilities**
- Work with our external agencies to make sure our agreed content reflects our brand strategy
- Respond to customer enquiries from website, letters and social media
- Create, manage and build a successful CRM system for consumers
- Update branded communication materials and brief changes to the graphic design agency for new flyers, sell sheets or presentation graphics
- Keep brand websites up to date and generate new relevant content
- Devise, implement and report upon consumer research projects
- Under supervision of the brand team, assist in producing content for retailer presentations based on data gathered from market research and social media platforms
- Report upon our competitors activity online, through social media and by monitoring consumer press
- Assist sales team with requests for graphics and communication materials

**Requirements**:
You will have:

- A marketing degree and 1-3 years of experience in food or FMCG marketing.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
- You will have multi-channel experience that includes supermarket sales.
- You will be passionate about food (particularly salad) and be an Eco warrior, proud to work for a company with such fantastic sustainability credentials.

You are a:

- Creative, positive, self starter, highly organised with fantastic attention to detail.
- You will be happy working as part of a team as well as independently.
- Your role will include some marketing administrative tasks but the majority of your time will be helping to develop and implement the brand campaigns.
