**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The Supplier Technical Assistance Programme Lead for E-Propulsion has responsibility for providing a robust statement on the quality and capacity readiness of all New Tool End Item suppliers into the Electric Drive Unit programme teams.

The role is specific to the purchased finished assemblies and directed tier 2 components supplied into our manufacturing facilities for EDU’s but may grow as technology adoption matures.

In addition, you will have responsibility to maintain relationships with Key Stakeholders in Purchasing, Product Engineering and the various Programme Teams to ensure transparency of work towards PSW and supplier launch readiness.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

As a Supplier Technical Assistance Program Lead you will understand the timing and the commodities complexity, managing the programme deliverables. You will represent the STA team, reporting the quality and capacity status of our parts into various cross functional forums. To work collaboratively with STA New Model Launch engineers to ensure timely two-way Programme communication is followed.

You will be accountable in managing suppliers’ Programme readiness; ensuring our suppliers & STA NML team are engaging in APQP, and that there is a concurred PPAP level status across the NML team and Programme Manager. In this role you will drive cross functional engagement, holding other functions accountable for their responsibilities as part of the Agile programme management methodology that Jaguar Land Rover has adopted. You will provide a Part Risk Tracker to the Programme Manager in order to complete a launch readiness risk assessment for non PSW parts for Quality & Capacity needs.

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**:
Essential:

- Experience of managing & delivering projects on time and across a wide range of stakeholders
- Confident and assertive with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence a variety of stakeholders at all levels in the business
- Business acumen, personal initiative and a passion to succeed, together with the influencing skills to manage programme activity with a good level of independence
- An individual who has high personal resilience and can handle the daily diversity and complexities of a modern 24 hour, high volume manufacturing environment

Desirable:

- Understanding of JLR PCDS and CCDS development process or other complex product development processes
- Understanding of Agile methodology and operation within Agile project environment
- Experience of operating within a mature, high-performing Programme management organisation
