WHAT TO EXPECT:
The Programmes Procurement team manages the interface between the Vehicle Line Architectures, Globalisation, Manufacturing and the Purchasing / STA community to ensure New Model Programmes & Current Car can derive maximum value and benefit from Global Supplier Market Place Offering in terms of cost, quality, technology and timing and that these attributes are delivered to, or better than plan.

The Supplier Readiness & Intelligence (SRI) team, work across three pillars of programme delivery - Sourcing, Releasing and Industrialisation. The Releasing pillar of the SRI team manages the programmes overall order status and is the key liaison between the Programme Team, Production Purchasing and Engineering; identifying order and releasing error states, seeking to find resolution and owners, driving the closure of errors to allow for orders to be placed - parts in plant, in time for programme requirements.

This is a key role in delivering change within the whole vehicle lifecycle plan and global growth from the point of 1st release, offering a unique and challenging experience with business-wide exposure and development.

In this role, you will be expected to deliver the following:

- Development and improvement of standardised process to support Jaguar Land Rover releasing delivery. You will be work as part of the SRI team and be a key team member in the daily running, interface, execution, problem solving, (and in cases reporting) of status, outputs and metrics.
- You will be responsible for the execution and management of the key processes within your plant/programmes and be expected to support the business, functional, and area commitments to be met in line with operational requirements and business need.
- Champion relationships across COCs with internal customers and stakeholders to provide the best overall outcomes from your plant/programmes to meet business need and drive/support optimisation of interfacing, cross functional end to end processes - whether they are technical, commercial or logistics.
- Operational efficiency driven by continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Represent the purchasing function through programme meeting cadence and ensure commercial inputs and outputs are actioned in accordance with Programme Requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will manage the Purchase Order plan for your programme/s, liaising with the Programme Team, Procurement and other stakeholders to ensure order coverage & working proactively to ensure engineering releases flow through right first time. You will be responsible for the resolution of Purchasing issues during parts Meeting and manager production piece & tooling orders in line with the Programme Releasing plan.

You will need to set priorities (relating to buyer actions) for orders in query, interfacing with offshore teams (CBSL), and ensure there is a shopping cart raised for all tooling orders required, interfacing with CBSL where shopping carts are missing/requires progressing, and drive shopping cart approvals for Purchasing.

Part of the role will be to ensure there is an ATP raised for all piece orders required, interfacing with CBSL where ATPs missing / No Actioned outside of process and drive ATP approvals post order being raised (but not printed).

You will be responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of core purchasing process across the Procurement and STA programmes landscape and specifically within the SRI team. Many of these processes are cross functional and will require close working and enterprise leadership with your co-workers and colleagues across the business to ensure repeated success

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
You will need to demonsteate excellent stakeholder management and relationship management skills with clear understanding of how to facilitate cross functional team work to meet objectives. You will also possess strong analytical, influencing and problem-solving skills with the ability to make autonomous decisions.
