**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The Stampings Group is responsible for the delivery of tooling programs, facilities, and technologies for all JLR vehicles. This includes managing the development, manufacture and successful launch of tooling and equipment into nominated press facilities as well as providing the foundation for JLR’s drive towards world class BIW quality and cost performance.

The vehicle programmes team is responsible for the project management of new tooling programmes

There will be potential opportunities during a programme to travel to both tooling vendors & production plants located around the world such as Asia & Europe.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintenance of the programme costs decks and ongoing change control
- Creation of SG programme status presentations for exec reviews
- Creation of press tooling timing plans and tracking adherence
- Collating and tracking of programme metrics
- Consult with the SG planning teams to monitor feasibility and manufacturing progress
- Consult with purchasing during sourcing activities such as RFQ and to assist with technical levelling
- Creation of shopping carts in SAP and tracking of project funds
- Manage the delivery of the Automated Issues Management System (AIMS) and I-Create items and escalate as required to the relevant governance forums
- Support at the manufacturing plants during the launch phase i.e., start-up meetings
- Stand in for programme manager when required
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job which may be required from time to time
- Assist and help arrange the Logistics / Customs paperwork of shipping Dies, pallets, and material to and from the toolmakers into JLR

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**

**Essential**
- Previous experience within Engineering or programme departments
- Excellent communication and people skills with proven experience of stakeholder management
- Knowledge of change control, product definition and change management processes
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred

**Desirable**
- Experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a cross functional team
- Strong project management experience
- Good working knowledge of Product Creation Delivery System (or similar process)
