WHAT TO EXPECT

Do you come from an administrative background, and are looking to take the next step in your career?
As the Programme Support Officer (Chassis), you’ll be responsible for pulling together all aspects of Chassis delivery from across the business. Spanning the entire breadth of Chassis commodities including axles, suspension systems, wheels and brakes. And all areas of hardware design, mechatronic systems integration and dynamic vehicle attribute delivery.

This is a great opportunity to join a small, multi-skilled and agile Chassis team charged with creating and delivering the new Jaguar platform and the vehicle portfolio. This role gives the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of product delivery from initial concepts to the finished vehicle.

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**:

- Working alongside the Chassis component delivery teams and cross-functional groups through the project delivery of systems and components. Supporting non-technical issue resolution to ensure the delivery of Chassis commodities, features and attributes.
- Working with external engineering teams and suppliers to deliver world-class components, focusing on planning, scheduling, change management, risk and issue management.
- Provide daily administrative management of the project.
- Support the project monitoring and tracking of activities including compiling and reviewing project metrics.
- Develop and maintain project related databases and reports.
- Design and support project coordination meetings, events, prepare presentations in support of project needs.
- Work closely with the project manager/members and the cross-functional groups to identify and resolve issues related to the project.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As the Programme Support Officer (Chassis), you’ll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

- Great communication skills - delivering clear and concise information to all levels and areas of the business.
- Strong teamwork - building strong working networks and bringing individuals and teams together.
- Robust decision making - Using data and plans to form recommendations for the whole team to follow.
- Be able to prioritise their workload
- Ability to deliver to defined deadlines
- Ability to analyse & feedback improvements in a positive way keeping stakeholders engaged in finding solutions
- Positive attitude able to focus on key tasks to deliver on programme goals
