The Continuous Improvement Manager reports into the Head of Business Improvement and is accountable for establishing and maintaining a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) and embedding quality management principles across the company.

The role is responsible for delivering the CI strategy, working across all functions within the business to eliminate wasteful activity and establish sustainable working practices. Working directly with different teams in different functions and with stakeholdersat all levels, the role is responsible for building awareness of and capability in CI to motivate teams, departments and individuals. The role looks to integrate and develop new ways of working, define problems and seek solutions in order to implement CI anddeliver ROI.

**What you will be doing as a Continuous Improvement Manager**:

- Developing an overall vision and roadmap for CI within the business.
- Building awareness of CI and opportunities for improvement across all departments to foster a culture of CI across the business.
- Developing and implementing a company-wide CI program with measurable outcomes.
- Designing, running and coordinating training sessions and workshops.
- Translating techniques and methodology into actionable steps for business benefit.
- Winning engagement from senior managers as demonstrated through involvement in CI initiatives.
- Acting as a CI mentor to staff across the business.
- Liaising with senior management to ensure projects are being selected that align with business strategy and goals.
- Identifying, reporting and communicating risks, issues, challenges and successes across the business.
- Managing the individual performance, development, training and recruitment of CI Champions and direct reports to help build a high performing network who remove wasteful activity across the company.
- Allocating resources across departments/functions to ensure CI targets are consistently met.

**For this you’ll need**:

- Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt (required).
- Significant experience in business analysis / continuous improvement techniques e.g. Lean.
- Significant experience in project management and/or management experience, with a proven track record.
- Sound working knowledge of general business processes and typical organisation architecture.
- Proven track record across the areas of change management and continuous improvement culture.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport and influence teams, including changing hearts and minds.
- Ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses on complex cross-functional matters.
- Ability to challenge the current status quo and influence both upwards and downwards.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Experienced and skilled in presenting to a variety of stakeholders.
