responsibility include planning and scheduling of deliveries, liaising with key customers to ensure business processes are accurately completed. The position is also responsible for the management of the internal company fleet and transport sub-contractors. Responsibilities: -Ensure accurate on-time delivery of company products to customers - Coordinate and schedule transportation services for clients -Responsible for all dispatching and routing of deliveries with internal fleet and sub
- contractors -People management for internal fleet drivers -Manage maintenance and servicing schedules for company fleet vehicles -Ensure accurate administrative records complying with quality processes and procedure - Liaise with customers and manage administration processes required by company Finance department -Liaise with Sales team to understand and manage customer delivery requirements - Communicate with drivers and ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods - Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery - Resolve any issues or delays in transportation services - Maintain accurate records of transportation activities -Ensure compliance to all required internal and external transport policies, legislation, and procedures for all company fleet - Collaborate with internal teams to optimize transportation processes - Provide excellent customer service to clients Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Extensive transport planning experience in a busy and demanding environment Knowledge of route planning approaches and systems Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills and ability to plan effectively in all areas of work Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards Able to operate in a dynamic environment, able to make decisions under pressure and to a tight timescale Attention to detail and problem solving skills Able to generate solutions and new ideas to issues or opportunities to benefit both the customer and the company Experience of people management Experience of working with administrative processes Competent in Excel and Word Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous *Additional information:* Renumeration is negotiable and dependent on skills and experience Hours of work: 8:00am - 5:00pm with flexibility meeting business needs Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits:
