This wasn’t how I would have described this company 18 months ago, but I have worked very closely with the Sales Manager & Managing Director to create this and now we need you to join the team.
They are forward thinking & reward well, have a great team culture, your ideas will be listened to and embraced, and they have adopted the hybrid way of working
The balance is currently 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home, this may rotate but they have no plans to get back to the office full time, no micro-managing here, feeling chained to your desk
You will be joining a business who have gone from being a local Midlands based distributor to a global forward-thinking company constantly evolving in new markets.
You will be speaking with customers who have already shown an interest in the product ranges, either getting them to place their initial enquiry order or suggesting different or additional products.
The team are experienced, you don’t need experience in fasteners, if you have an awareness of industrial products and engineering this would certainly be useful.
You know that sales is an attitude it can be tuned and developed, but you either love spending all day on the phone talking to people or you don’t, and I can see you reading this and thinking “that’s me”
Lots of the calls you will be making will be warm from inbound enquires, but you will also be calling through some of the lapsed clients who haven’t ordered for a while or some meaty new business leads, so you need to be someone who isn’t afraid of pickingup that phone
