Sales Administrator

Our client are a leading mid-range food processor and distributor with headquarters near Walsall / Wolverhampton.
They are currently seeking a Sales administrator to work at the company's head office to support the Export team.
The role is suited to a motivated individual with a willingness to learn, having basic excel skills and good organisational skills.
**Key duties**
- Providing comprehensive administration support to the Export Sales Manager and the Export team
- Responsible for dealing with and resolving all customer and distributors’ queries
- Preparing documentation for the export of products globally
- Processing and monitoring, call off and forward orders using internal IT systems
- Preparing quotations accurately
- Arranging transport deliveries, and monitoring all shipments
- Resolving problems and troubleshooting when issues arise
- Ensuring appropriate product information is available for export documentation
- Maintaining the customer database and ensuring that all contact and product information is accurate
- Raising purchase orders on behalf of the Group Company
- Monitoring and reporting on export stock
Prior experience, in a similar role with strong administration and sales support skills is preferred along with strong communication and liaison skills including developing and sustaining successful relationships with international customers and suppliers.
The working hours are Mon - Fri (9 am and 5 pm).
