Sales & Operations Manager

**Sales & Operations Manager** required for our global manufacturing client based in Wednesbury. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for managing / leading a team of customer service employees, communicatingbusiness KPI’s to required deadlines, motivating team members and assessing overall performance. In addition, you will be expected to provide quotations, sales administration support and respond to customer enquiries, which includes sales order processing,delivering excellent customer service and liaising with internal departments.
**The Sales & Operations Manger will be responsible for**:
- Providing quality customer service including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries and effectively handling customer complaints.
- Answering team member questions, supporting team members with problems and overseeing work for quality and guideline compliance.
- Conducting team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
- Through personal examples and motivation, create a working environment that is receptive to change and innovation.
- Assisting Sales & Marketing Director with recruitment processes and new team member training.
- Monitoring the Time & Attendance process along with the 1-2-1 appraisals.
- Effectively liaising with customers to resolve complaints where required.
- Being proactive and positive in all meetings which require your attendance, be prepared and provide all necessary documentation.
- Managing and supporting projects that will enhance the Customer journey within the business.
- Most importantly ensuring that a high level of service is provided to internal and external customers.
- Providing encouragement to team members including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
- Undertaking general customer service activities including answering telephone calls, processing orders and responding to all correspondence together with providing day to day support to the team.
**Attributes required**:
Proven experience within a Sales Management role ideally within manufacturing or engineering and hold strong people management skills including coaching and developing.
Ability to drive and motivate a team to seize every opportunity.
IT literate - MS office packages.
Excellent communication skills and flexible attitude.
Customer service focused.
Professional personality and able to manage multiple projects.
**Working hours**: 35 hours - Days - Monday to Friday
**Salary Guide**: £30k to £35k basic + company car or car allowance.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (less Christmas shutdown, usually 3)
