Who you are

The Senior Editorial Lead is an important part of Money20/20’s transition from

a brand known primarily for the best events in fintech into a leader in fintech content that engages with our global communities year round.

We aren’t looking for an expert in fintech, although knowledge of the space is a benefit and certainly a passion for it helps.

We are looking for an expert in content that can contribute to the development of our voice as we evolve from seasonal to constant engagement across fintech.

Role Overview

You will be on the front line of engagement for the Money20/20 brand, with a focus on the LinkedIn platform in year one.

As the pinnacle brand at the convergence of financial services and technology, the expectations are high and must be delivered on. You will work closely with our internal fintech experts and content leads to deliver on these expectations through content that reflects the strong positioning of our brand, specifically

showcasing that our brand knows what the fintech community wants or what they will be talking about in the very near future. You’ll work with our growing editorial team to ensure all content provides the optimal balance of education and information for fintech professionals and those with a general interest in the technology and impact on the world.

As the pinnacle show at the convergence of financial services and technology, the expectations of our brand are high and must be delivered on. You will liaise with our marketing team and internal thought leaders to craft original copy, captions and responses that are aligned with our brand voice and resonate with fintech professionals.

You will use various tools (including Vimeo Create and others) to craft narratives that use a combination of text, images and video to create compelling content that establishes the Money20/20 digital presence as a leader in the world of fintech and beyond.

Your job will be focused around finding and delivering best in class content for our fintech audience. Put another way, you will be creating content that is UnMissable for the world of fintech. What does this look like in practice? Content that is highly engaged in, that drives virtual conversations that culminate for our followers when they meet in real life at our events around the world.

Key Accountabilities
- Maintain editorial calendar
- Maintain annual editorial calendar, presenting to internal stakeholders on a quarterly basis
- Lead daily editorial calls with social producer and production resources
- Identify zeitgeist moments to respond to with content experiences
- Craft compelling narratives to drive interest in the latest developments across fintech.
