You have an exceptional command of language and storytelling, with the ability to adapt your voice for different audiences and channels. You’re not just a great writer—you’re a strategic thinker who understands business goals and can translate them into compelling narratives that drive awareness, understanding, and ultimately business results. Key areas of focus for this role Leading editorial excellence You’ll develop editorial strategies that ensure consistency and excellence across all communications. You’ll craft high‑impact content across formats—from detailed reports and presentations to executive speeches and thought leadership pieces. You’ll turn complex technical topics into clear, compelling stories that bring our products and mission to life for our audiences. You’ll develop a deep understanding of Wise’s mission, goals, the industry, and the environment we operate in, and translate them into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences. Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement You’ll work closely with leadership and senior stakeholders across the organization to develop and refine key messages and positioning. You’ll provide editorial guidance and support throughout the organization, collaborating effectively with teams including PR, internal communications, investor relations, marketing, and legal. You’ll adapt content effectively across different platforms and channels, ensuring optimal impact for each audience. What you’ll need Outstanding command of language, grammar, and style, with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different speakers, audiences, and channels. Deep experience delivering content across different formats—reports, presentations, speeches, social media posts, blogs, customer‑facing communications, and thought leadership. Strong storytelling ability with demonstrable experience turning technical topics into simple, clear, and compelling narratives. Demonstrable ability to develop a deep understanding of business strategy, company goals, products, customers, and operating environment to inform company communications. Experience working with company leaders and stakeholders across multiple functions. Understanding of how to assess content quality and effectiveness using data and metrics. Adaptability to emerging communication technologies and trends. An ownership mindset with a hands‑on, solutions‑oriented, and results‑driven approach. Strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work proactively, independently, and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑growth company. A genuine, enthusiastic interest in our mission and in developing compelling narratives to make financial services fairer. What you’ll get We offer you a position in one of the UK’s foremost tech companies, with a chance to truly be a part of something great. It goes without saying that you’ll be part of a fun, friendly atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to grow personally and professionally. You’ll receive a competitive salary, flexible work hours, and international travel. Everyone gets shares in the company too, because we believe that what we’re building belongs to each of us. What is it really like to work here At Wise we do things a bit differently. There’s no corporate nonsense and no old‑fashioned hierarchy. Instead, we work in individually responsible teams. Each team owns how they want to solve the problems we’re working on together and gets on with it—so there’s no micro‑management or people telling you what to do. You will get tons of guidance and support from talented, super‑smart colleagues from all over Wise. The way we work doesn’t suit everyone. But if the freedom to take on head‑scratching professional challenges sounds interesting, we could be a match made in heaven. Additional Information For everyone everywhere.
