Downham Home & Garden is one of Norfolk’s largest Home & Garden Centre retailers. We have one of the biggest and best ranges of quality home products, clothing, plants and gardening equipment around.

Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Marketing Co-ordinator. Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Co-ordinator role plays an instrumental part to the success of the business, ensuring we attract and engage existing and new customers to the business. You must have a strong ability to plan, design and create the complete company marketing programme within specified guidelines. Marketing will include multiple platforms - social media, in-store, leaflets, newspaper adverts. There will be 30 % of time allocated to general administrative duties including store reporting, basic IT tasks and invoicing.

This role is being offered on a full time permanent basis, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

This role will be varied with no two days the same.

**What you'll be doing....**

**Marketing**:

- Plan, design and create and promote all social media content
- Plan, design, create and promote any artwork needed for leaflets, posters or adverts
- Interact through social media to constantly improve the overall image of the business
- Monitor all social media channels and TripAdvisor for any comments and escalate to appropriate manager.

**General Administrative Duties**:

- Complete weekly/monthly reports for General Manager and Finance Director
- Complete set tasks within the EPOS system (CSY)
- Create purchase orders for stock coming into the business
- Manage the credit claim process
- Check and complete supplier invoices through inhouse i-complete system
- Resolve any issues with suppliers regarding invoices
- Liaise with EPOS provider (CSY) for any issues or tasks set by the General Manager
- Access and update health and safety records as appropriate or requested by the General Manager

**Skills you'll need....**

2-3 years Digital Marketing experience

Strong writing skills, confident in copywriting

Creative thinker, ability to grow our audience

Confident with systems including; Adobe, InDesign, Hootsuite, Microsoft Suite
