We are going through a period of change at the moment so this is a really exciting time to join our growing and progressing business. Due to an internal promotion we are now recruiting for a New Business Enquiries and Costings Co-ordinator to work in our busy Business Development Team.
**Job purpose**:
To handle all incoming Enquiries from potential and existing customers, as well as generating and managing costings for new business opportunities. To ensure that all enquiries are responded to promptly and professionally, and that all costings are accurate. You will be working closely with the Sales, Technical, Laboratory and Production departments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Respond promptly to all incoming enquiries from potential customers in a timely and
professional manner.
- Generate accurate costings for new business opportunities.
- Work with other departments to assemble information required to process enquiries and costings.
- Obtain tool quotations. from toolmakers (after having gained information from engineering colleagues and technical team)
- Send out enquiries to global suppliers and complete global cost sheets generated in excel.
- Arrange and manage internal enquiry meetings.
- Monitoring production rates in order to ensure accurate costings are produced.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Essential criteria**:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent in the basic features of Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- GCSE maths grade C or equivalent (or the ability to demonstrate equivalent competency)
**Desirable criteria**:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Technical moulding knowledge or experience
- Previous experience using a CRM system
- Competent user of Microsoft teams
