Admin and Customer Service Assistant

**1 Stop Blinds** is recruiting an Admin and Customer Service Assistant to join their small team to be based at their Bury St Edmunds factory showroom. This position is a permanent position for 28 Hours per week, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
**About the role**
Working in the Bury St Edmunds Office/Showroom, you will be responsible for a range of admin tasks, dealing with customers in person and over the phone as well as supporting other areas of the business as and when necessary.
**Responsibilities**:
- Schedule appointments with clients for measurements and installations
- Process orders and handle invoicing and payments
- Dealing with customers is shop in a friendly and professional manner
- Giving advice and guidance on types of blinds, costing and best solutions for customers (Full training will be provided)
- Provide administrative support to our sales team and management, including data entry, filing, and other general office tasks
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our database
- Provide support and assistance making blinds when needed
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in customer service and/or administrative support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Knowledge of window blinds or related products is a plus but not essential
- An enthusiastic approach to learning about our products and services
