**Admin Assistant**
We are looking for a fantastic administrator to work within our Finance Shared Services department to provide excellent customer service whilst assisting the Credit Controllers in their day-to-day roles. This includes the ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment, demonstrating good administrative skills as well as meeting deadlines/targets. This is a hybrid working role which means that after training, 50% of your time will be spent working in our Greene King corporate site, based in Bury St Edmunds and the other 50% of the time you can work on a remote agile basis.
**Your key accountabilities will include**:
- Allocate customer payments where possible
- Raising of manual invoices and credits for the business
- From time to time, support Credit Control with releasing orders within scheduled timeframes and to deadline
- Day to day administration support e.g., setting up direct debits, copy invoices & credits, statements etc
- Manage the Credit Control Enquiries inbox daily
- Manage the Loan Penalties spreadsheet
- Build excellent relationships with customers as well as peers in other departments
- From time to time, contact any customers whose direct debit fails and ensure to collect the unpaid balance in a timely manner
- Support colleagues to help cover periodic tasks with annual or absence leave
- Communicate regularly with the Credit Controllers with any credit concerns
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
**You will need to have**:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A strong team player with excellent planning and organisation skills
- Proactive and methodical
- Good excel skills and familiar with windows
- Ability to work well under pressure within a changing environment
- Able to meet deadlines and performance targets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Credit management experience is ideal but not a necessity
