**The Role**
As an **Associate Medical Director** within Inizio Evoke Europe’s **Medical Strategy team**, you will bring a passion for translating science, medicine, and emerging technologies into **commercial strategies and impactful communications** that drive behaviour change in both human and animal health.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Serve as the day-to-day medical expert on assigned accounts, providing research, insights, and strategic content development.
- Collaborate with senior medical strategists, strategy, creative and client teams to support foundational deliverables and tactical execution.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in therapeutic areas and product data, translating complex scientific information into commercially actionable marketing and communication strategies.
- Act as a trusted medical content expert for both internal teams and external clients.
- Lead content strategy, medical reviews, and medical content development to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment.
- Enhance the scientific fluency of agency staff on assigned accounts through knowledge sharing and training.
- Support new business development, contributing to RFI and RFP responses.
- Work closely with digital, omnichannel, and data teams, leveraging medical insights to optimize client engagement.
**Key Qualifications & Skills**
- Advanced degree in health/life sciences (PhD preferred; MD, PharmD, MSc also considered).
- At least 6 years of experience in healthcare communications, with 3+ years in promotional marketing/advertising (brand communications experience strongly preferred).
- Proven ability to thrive in a client-facing role.
- Line management experience is preferred.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including experience in pitches, project proposals, and client workshops.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in simplifying complex scientific data for diverse audiences.
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments across therapeutic areas.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially with strategic planning and creative teams (including medical copywriters).
- Strong understanding of the digital healthcare landscape and emerging trends in omnichannel communication.
- Passion for educating and improving patient outcomes, with a genuine interest in health communications.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the confidence to challenge ideas and contribute strategic insights.
- UK-based, with the flexibility to work on US accounts when required.
