This ambitious agency ensure they provide their clients with the needs, opportunities and ambitions they desire through the use of Publications Planning, Thought Leader Engagement, Medical and Regulatory Writing, Medical Education, Conference Symposia andMeetings Services, Scientific Exchange, Scientific Platform Development and eLearning Systems.

**Associate Medical Director Role**

This opportunity will enable you to work across allocated accounts to write a range of content deliverables, as well as use your scientific expertise and industry knowledge to work on a variety of therapy areas. You will be required to:

- Oversee and lead a number of client accounts from a scientific/editorial perspective, ensuring strategic and tactical initiatives are implemented to the highest standard
- Review, proofread and data check scientific materials over a full range of deliverables and target audiences, to the highest level of accuracy and completeness
- Manage short-, medium-, and long-term resource allocation for nominated accounts, based on financial forecast and project requirements/timelines
- Line manage other team members; carry out objective setting and performance appraisals, ensure individual objectives are achieved, and address performance issues proactively and effectively
- Ensure own and line reports' timesheets are completed accurately and submitted on time
- Lead teams responsible for the development of new business proposals and pitches

**Associate Medical Director Essential Experience**
- Life science degree (preference: pharmacology/pharmacy, medicine, biomedical sciences) An elevated level of written and verbal communication skills
- Higher degree (eg MSc, PhD)
- Previous agency experience, in a writer and reviewer capacity (ideally 8 years +)
- Previous line management or mentoring experience
- Previous academic or pharmaceutical writing experience
- Excellent English language and grammatical skills
- Excellent leadership skills
