Youth Support Worker - Birmingham

Your duties will include:
You need to be flexible, energetic, and ideally have experience of working with children with profound and complex disabilities and/or autism. This role could be suitable for a graduate with an interest in pursuing a career in teaching or learning support.If you are considering work in this field, or already have experience please get in touch for further information.

What you need to know about the school:
The school support young peoples to develop their emotional well-being and social skills. As a Support assistant you will support the school to develop students to cope better with the things they find challenging whether this is during their school dayor at home.The successful youth support worker will help establish positive and healthy relationships, emotional well-being and developing social skills.The school are currently on the lookout for an additional teaching assistant to work through us initiallywith the likelihood of a permanent contract after a specific amount of time. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is fancying a change in career or if you have a keen interest in special needs.

The Role
- Working hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Earn around £1200+ per month
- Opportunities to work with both Primary and Secondary aged children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
